Hey There.

It's been a while since we've bloggered about anything. Well, ha! here is something.

We have a b-sides release called, BEAR-SIDES AND RARETIES. It's a collection of Acoustic songs, old un-released songs, a cover, and some side project material.

We are selling it on our online store and at shows. It's all hand packaged.

2. Building A Building (acoustic)
3. Up With Mittens, Down With Gloves (acoustic)
4. Oh Man, Oh Man, The Madman!
5. The Doves That Quietly Coo
6. These Heavenly Heights
7. Wait For Me Abby Bernstein (small towns burn a little slower cover)
8. Shit Bag (The Bear Hug- Ben and Pete's potential silly electronic project)
9. It's Finally Here! But I'm Staying Inside (Of Yesteryears-some songs jer put together)
10. Bravery (We Are The Willows-the bravery ep-Pete's solo stuff)

Wind in the Willows...wait...the willows...we are the...wait...what is the name again?

Helllo!
So...I write, record, and play some tunes outside of Red Fox Grey Fox under the moniker, WE ARE THE WILLOWS.  I have released an ep called, THE BRAVERY EP and now I have some more exciting news...in the releasing department.
I will be releasing a four song ep, called, A FAMILY.  A TREE.  EP., on October 6th, 2009.  The four songs will be available for download at www.ambledown.com.  One may purchase the songs on a "pay what ever the hell you want" basis.

The full length is called, A COLLECTION OF SOUNDS AND SOMETHING LIKE THE PLAGUE.  It will be released on November 24th.  Both the ep and the full length are going to be released on AMBLEDOWN records, out of Eau Claire, WI.

Please check out the tunes here.

A Blast In The Past...If you know what I mean

I don't know what that means....but here are some funny pictures of Ben and I at the Infancy of Red Fox Grey Fox.  We were recording our first demos.  I used to play drums and keys and sing.  and ben played bass and keys and sang...then we had a guitar dude...then that didn't work out, then we found jer, then we were like, "we need a drummer" and we found stephen.

Yay!

Post-Game

Oh man, there's nothing better than a good ol' man hug after a rock n' roll show.  Well, I guess there probably are better things.  Like a Honey Bun hug.  Oh man those things are good.  My sister makes this stuff called monkey bread.  Oh boy.  So Good.
Well, we certainly had a killer time at our ep release show.  It felt so good to play tunes again.  And there's more a comin':
Sept. 11th in Winona
Sept. 12th in MPLS @ the Beat
Sept. 29th at The Beat w/ THE CRINN
Nov. 14th in Duluth
Oct. 24th in MPLS @ the Triple Rock w/ Mae
Anywho, here are some pictures of rock n roll.

Oh boy, I am such a fan of Jeremiah's swooooping rock n roll hair.  it's awesome.
Ben and my rock n roll swoooping hair is pretty cool too.
Stephen Lindquist:  Rock N Roll Swooop hair free for 2 years.  good job ol' buddy.
Oh man, having all these folks come see us made us feel great.  thanks so much you lovelies who came.
